  • Spacious Pavilion: Our partially enclosed pavilion is the perfect spot for group gatherings, potlucks, or simply relaxing under the sun.
  • Comfy Seating: Stretch out on our many lawn chairs, swing on the swings, or gather around a picnic table with friends and family.
  • Stunning Views: Enjoy breathtaking vistas of Eagle Nest Lake and the Sangre de Christo Mountains, all while being protected from southerly and westerly winds.

The Park

Located 40 miles East of Taos, we are 10 miles NORTH of Angel Fire and 18 miles SOUTH of Red River. West Lake RV is part of the the scenic 96-mileEnchanted Circle Drive“. The adjacent Eagle Nest State Park includes the 2,400 acre Eagle Nest Lake is stocked with kokanee salmon and rainbow trout as well as other popular game fish. The Cimarron Canyon State Parks, and Kit Carson National Forest add to the mix. offering ATVing, hiking, boating, fishing, gold panning, hunting, golfing and horseback riding. Quaint mountain villages, ghost town, ancient adobe structures, a Native American pueblo, America’s first Vietnam Veteran’s Memorial, and Southwestern style art studios are just a few fascinating points of interest in an area which is truly enchanting.

The Village of Eagle Nest rests in a valley below Wheeler Peak, New Mexico’s highest mountain, with a rich wildlife of elk, deer, turkeys and bear as well as the free-soaring spirit of eagles rising above the shores of Eagle Nest Lake.

The average day temperature May through September is a pleasant 64-77 degrees.
